Since I'm applying for a JaGeX job it's time to take down my videos and pictures.
They will harm my chances of getting the job.
If you see pictures of me outside these forums, please let me know.

rs screenshots don't associate elias marshall to his lordship, i think its only runescape related things with his rl pics in. i'll keep an eye out

Aren't most His Lordship things associated to Elias Marshal? Obviously WE know you changed your name, but does JaGeX?

just delete the umm, wats it called, things you type in when you upload video that relate to the video. then even if they search, they cant find it

The Tag to the video? That might work, but you could still associate it with him, it just makes it more difficult.

It's not like you can erase your existence from the internet.
The equal opportunities act in the UK basically limits how discriminative they can be when reviewing your application. They have no right to do background checks on your personal life, other than a check on your criminal record or more in-depth for applicants applying for a job with vulnerable peers, such as in a school or retirement home.
They're not exactly going to see your application and google you. And if they did any results they find cannot be used against you.

OMG, here in the states the post offices have wanted posters. You want to know about your picture there. Not, that there are any pictures of your there. Also, I suspect as soon as you apply they will know anything and everything about you. George Orwell was only wrong about the year.
