If someone isn't in the clan and is fighting for them, does that clan lose automatically? Just for one member? 5. What about more specific rules? I know some clans have rules about Infinite Run, Explorer rings, enabling and disabling magic. I believe both clan leaders should post their custom rules on this forum for the managers to see, so if there is a breakage of the rules, it can be reviewed. THE SKILLING CUP 1. Perhaps you could specify when you plan to announce the skill, so that we can have ample time to post our nominated members. 2. Why do you need to draw from a hat at all? Can't all clans compete against each other in one skill? And then you can have a table? ______________ REWARDS The best reward would be public attention drawn to the clan. A post on the front page of Runescape with the winning clans, and perhaps a list of Runners Up. The winning clan gets a little feature article about them. This would help the clan's reputation and recruitment. And obviously the winning clan cannot participate next time. Anything in-game might be a little biased :S I am really looking forward to this! I hope I offered at least some help. |
Now if you read correctly, you'll know JaGeX can detect us by what we wear.
We need to start planning tactics.
Fighting is pretty much wrapped. We'll not worry insanely about that. We've done it a million times.
Skilling, we'll have to devise tactics for.
For example, with cooking... we will have pre-prepared some uncooked summer pies or something... I don't know. And we'll just continuously hand them to our nominated cookers for 5 one hour sessions. Even raw shark or something. We'll get specific. Masters in each skill will give ideas.

Looks like it will be pretty time consuming for JaGex to get this to work.

Ok I think that we are far more likely to win the Fighting and Combined than the Skilling Cup...
From the information they provided, it appears as though they are going to pick the ONE skill for your ENTIRE clan to participate in... what if they pick a skill that's well expensive or one that everyone hates like farming... there will only be a select number of people who will wish to participate in it.
Also for the skilling cup it says that you have to enter the names of 10 members BEFORE THE SKILL IS ANNOUNCED.... that's even worse.... we'd have to just submit our best skillers I guess.
A lot would be left out and it could weaken morale.....
As for the fighting cup... we are fully capable of winning that... well depending on who signs up.... but we could do very well in it.
The combined- we could win this as well, although we would need to have quite a lot of stealing creation practice rounds beforehand... I am willing to set these up.
We would need to work out the best way to get lots of points efficiently... work out a strategy and stick to it.
- Our current SC tactics are essentially: skill for 10 mins... when you get bored go and pk

Ok well, obviously the 5 cookers for example should be 99. This should be with all the skills, everyone is 99 or the top 10 in our clan.
Send our top 10 skillers overall. Hopefully they have good stats in everything, so its better.
If skillers had brawler gloves, would be much easier, with the whole clan to protect them in wild

first of all vefore picking skillers/fighters you should be 100% sure if they can give their best, that means that they won't get inactive in any way, people who might even no-life a skill. It's gonna be a hard desicion.

umm sweet?
i love the skilling cup. should be great fun.
but we will need, like elias said, to prepare before we use the time.
this means using sc tools, using minigames where points can be stored (eg. brimhaven dungeon for agility, umm, that minigame for farming lul) also can use infinate run and other stuff.
i think we can dominate skills and combat/skills cups over alot of other clans.

Do not send our best overall skillers i think we should nominate our no lifers
For example
Anatcrafter
Zemus
Myself
Stokenut
Vephyrus
etc
to do skills because it seems we only have to train the skill for 5 hours a week so we could easily spend time getting the stuff for these skills plus most people on that list have alot of cash too.
We need to prepare for this because obviously we believe fighting will be our strong point what if were drawn against TT or DF our guys cant tank this harder clans weve seen how fast some of our guys do get dropped im not blaming them im just saying we need to work on this too.
We need to also work on stealing creation tactic on how to get the most amount of points. Get a sign up list and a team now and begin to work on it as soon as possible.
For the skillers could be good for them to do SC too the tools give double exp so would be invaluable in helping us try and win this.
Were going to need to think it through and prepare well if were going to be in for a good shot at winning this thing. Its going to be a tough competition on all fronts because were not really a number 1 clan at any of them. Fighting is our strong point but we can be beaten.

ya um, that would mean lyke alot, and i mean alot, of pvp time until you are lucky enough to get a brawling glove, and then of one in that skill.
idk, about brawling gloves are compulsory, maybe if the person has them, its a bonus. But sc tools, and minigame points should be compulsory.
