Small Change to Banning

By His Lordship on 14/02/2009
From now on bans are permanent and non-negotiable.
The ban has lost its power because people feel they can overcome them.
This will be absolutely stringent.

Should I ever override a FAIR ban, may I be stripped of all my power, and may my fingers rot and fall off my hands.

Affirmative

By Nick on 14/02/2009
Sweet. Now people are banned.
Maybe people will now take you and their words more seriously.

By Pyro Blade26 on 14/02/2009
Risk your penis and I will take this more seriously. I know I would rather lose my fingers than my penis.

By Robertw56 on 14/02/2009
Uhhhh /me looks around, yes I agree with this ofcourse hash.png.

By Colinwarrior on 14/02/2009
What if we ban YOU??

Lol hash.png

By Sithofwookie on 14/02/2009
Well this settles the Rick Hamm coming back dispute.

By spanthrax on 14/02/2009
100% agree with this. a ban is a called a ban for a reason. taking them back does as you pointed out question the authority of our leaders. this adds more credibility to the leaders of this clan and i love the update. just hope i never end up with a welt from the ban stick.

I'll risk my right testicle.
I'm a bit fonder of my left one since it hangs lower.

Agreed.

Hmm... It is for the best of WG, even if some people don't always like it.

Ok.

It's for the better.

By Mojohaza1 on 14/02/2009
sounds like a good idea to me

By Ansatsublade on 14/02/2009
Read, and agreed.

By Havochaha on 14/02/2009
ffs now icant get banned again

By Mmangler on 14/02/2009
OK bans are permanent but I noticed that you said that awful anatomical things would happen if you reversed a fair ban. So I guess that a higher level of diligence will be implemented to make sure that bans are fair so that reversal and dire physical consequences do not occur. dry.gif

Don't really have an opinion. I guess the admin was elected for a reason.

By Starzhine on 14/02/2009
So long as it is a fair ban, and not one based on a personality dispute, I totally and completely agree.

Changes should only affect the future though, Rob already rejoined and that's in the past :/
Rob isn't the only person who got unbanned in the past too lol.

So only those banned after Rick Hamm are the ones that cannot be unbanned? Seems like a funny way to be.

I still disagree. I don't want Elias to lose his parts down the road when he realizes that someone was banned, changed and now he wants him/her back. As council and members change, so must the rules adapt to it.

By Kero2 on 14/02/2009
Seems more of a big change then little lol

That's how I read it. Only affects the new bans, cause now we know what awaits us. With it being that way seems fair enough.

By DZ on 16/02/2009
I like this idea. Happy to see it being implemented.

By David on 17/02/2009
Good move. Should instill some more discipline, and hopefully make people be aware of how they're acting. Hopefully it works the way it should.

By Pazenon on 17/02/2009
Great decision, this should consequently reduce the offences from different members.

By Firelion08 on 18/02/2009
Small change this is not.
