Since last November I've talked to a few people council and up about whether or not I could have the Emeritus rank. Twice I guess; and on both occasions they said yes, but then either forgot or didn't have time to change my rank. I'm just a little tired of using PMs for this, if someone could change my rank (or decide that it shouldn't be changed, whichever) I'd be much obliged.

And since this is in the Hellos forum for lack of a better place to put it, hi. For those who don't know I'm Wayne, and I've been in or around WG since May 2003 (joined in June that year). We've had our ups and downs and screaming fits (occasionally literally) but somehow that just makes this whole place more like family.
I'm not currently in WG for two reasons: 1) I'm busy as the Devil the day hell froze over, and 2) I'm not into pvp very much. If you guys bring sectors back I'll move heaven and earth (aka, my schedule as much as possible) to rejoin asap.

I wouldn't mind the occasional war however, which I think ties into the Emeritus rank potentially.
RS interests, I like to skill. I'd like pvp if there was any skill to it (or if we fought in single-combat zones, multi-combat fights are just ... ridiculous). I have 99 smithing and I'm working on a few other skill goals (see sig) besides getting 2000 overall . Also spent 3 hours and 51 minutes getting my first rune defender today, crazy stuff.
IRL interests, I like things that don't insult your intelligence (with the exception of hilarious idiocy which is just fine). Favorite authors would be J.R.R.Tolkien (read LotR three times and partially twice more), Terry Brooks (great fantasy author), and Robert Cormier (fantastic young adult novelist; the best books come from the banned books list). Favorite movie would be Man on Fire, probably because Denzel's character reminds me of my father quite a bit.
I also like SERIOUS anime (ex: Texhnolyze, Serial Experiments Lain, Hellsing) and manga (anything by Tsutomu Nihei, and a few by Tsutomu Takahashi for starters). I could talk your ears off about anime/manga, so if you're interested just mention it. Oh yeah, American/British graphic novels aren't half bad either. Recently read Coraline with the movie coming out soon; Neil Gaiman is a master of his art.
The rest: I'm 20, and in college getting a degree in accounting with a minor in mathematics (calculus this semester, very interesting stuff ... I know I'm crazy). I'm also trying to organize a sort of debate group on campus if I can manage it; next two weeks I'll be looking around and testing the waters. I'm also allergic to practically every food known to man, more-or-less.
It's kind of nice to post intros occasionally even when you've been around for years. Good excuse to talk about anime, hehehe.

Cheers!
