The Synergy (Syn) was the first exodus of WG, formed by Eragon Cd in 2004. Initially a rivalry began between the two clans, though a peace treaty and an alliance were established within the same year. Syn is considered to be one of the most successful of WG's exodi.

Eragon Cd is also seen in the chatbox of a screenshot from a WG raid in September 2004, though it is during a fight and unclear which side he is on.

Syn also claims to have had unofficial help from Rick Hamm and Flame Reece, who were part of the WG council at the time. Rick Hamm also briefly left WG for Syn, but returned to WG after a few weeks.
