The Veteran War, 2008.

The 2007 Anniversary was a celebration of the 4th Anniversary of the Wilderness Guardians, and consisted of at least 10 events over the course of two or more days in 2008, though the exact structure of the Anniversary has been lost to history.

Overview

The Veteran War, 2008.

No anniversary was held for 2006 as a result of D-Day and His Lordship's third permanent ban. Like the 2005 Anniversary, the 2007 Anniversary events actually occured in 2008 - although it is hard to determine exactly when. At the time, His Lordship was attending a Real life meeting in London, and so at least the first two days were organised by Dorcha3377, the next-in-charge staff member at the time. As a result, 2007 was the first year in which a Clan Quest was not held as part of the Anniversary.

Day 1 is known to have been held on 20 January 2008, and consisted of a Flower Power, Firefest, and Castle Wars events - though only screenshots of a Firefest were recorded in the clan's Website gallery. Day 2 was planned for the 27th, although it was only given one day's notice and it is uncertain whether the day was held successfully.

The rest of the Anniversary was not recapped on the Forum, and the Z6 Anniversary forum was cleared out at a later date. Other events known to have taken place are the Veteran War, Drop Party, Conga Line, Photo Shoot Trawler Trip, and Duelling Contest - although the exact dates for these are not known. The Castle Wars and Flower Power events were recapped, but no screenshots exist of these.

The Veteran War

The Firefest

Members from all clans of RuneScape were invited to the Firefest in Falador and subsequent drop party.

The Public Drop Party

Around 15,000,000 coins worth of items were dropped for the public at the Falador Party Room.

The Conga Line

The Photo Shoot

WG dressed as Spartans, inspired by the movie 300, 2008.

The theme of the shoot was Sparta from the movie 300, and was held at the Clan House as well as the streets of Varrock and Falador.

The Private Drop Party

Around 15,000,000 coins worth of items were dropped in the Clan House, in the clan's last drop party before the removal of free trade on 10 December 2007.

The Trawler Trip

Two successful Fishing Trawler trips were made.
