The Wilderness Guardians vs The Unbreakables (WG vs TU) was a war which took place on 5 June 2005. TU were a well-established and respected clan, and WG's victory over them changed public perception of WG considerably - going from being a relatively unknown group to a force worth reckoning with.
Background
The Unbreakables were a clan ranked at approximately #25 at the time, and declared war on WG in May 2005. WG staff member Terakaern accepted the offer, but due to WG's busy schedule the war could not be held for three weeks - the date being set for 5 June.
The Battle
WG and TU brought approximately 100 members each, making it a fairly balanced fight to begin with. WG was the attacking clan and divided into three groups, each of which entered the war zone at different times, with His Lordship leading a charge of either the second or third from west of Annakarl, as the fight had already commenced.
The battle lasted around 20 minutes from WG reaching the Demonic Ruins to defeating TU and taking an ending. A 22-minute video recorded and edited by Jesusislord6 was made, and captures the fight from the perspective of His Lordship's group. The war itself remained clean at Annakarl, and fairly balanced for the most part. At around the 14-minute mark WG started to take a clear lead, and by 19 minutes the last of TU had been cleared from the battlefield, securing WG's victory.
Aftermath
In the aftermath of the fight, a dispute arose as TU claimed WG had cheated. Even before the battle had concluded, TU members were voicing concerns that WG brought high-leveled players to fight who were not on their memberlist. Nearing the end of the fight, a TU member is seen questioning the presence of higher leveled players on WG's side, and is suspicious of how the clan had gained such a large amount of members within the ~23 weeks that they had been open. The dispute lasted for a considerable amount of time, but was eventually resolved and WG was found innocent of any wrongdoing.
