Awards

Awards are given to members of the Wilderness Guardians as tokens of recognitions of excellence. This can be RuneScape-specific (e.g. acquiring high levels or useful items, or winning an in-game contest) or clan-specific (e.g. forum activity or overall dedication and commitment). Awards are usually selected by the Staff and announced on the forums, and are often accompanied by a graphic to be displayed in the recipient's forum signature. WG has offered hundreds of awards in several forms and ceremonies over the years.

Member of the Month

Member of the Month is one of the longest-running awards offered by WG, where one (or multiple in rare instances) member is selected as having been the most outstanding overall within the previous month. MotMs receive a forum award attached to their profile and a graphic for their signature.

Server Booster

Server Booster is offered to members who provide a boost for WG's Discord server. This requires purchasing "Nitro" from Discord, and multiple boosts provide a wide range of upgrades to the server. Server Boosters receive a forum award attached to their profile.

Historical Awards

Medals

Medals were the first series of awards offered by WG, and came in the form of graphics for forum signatures. Recipients were mostly hand-picked by His Lordship, and included MotMs (as "Member for [Month]"). A handful of medals were awarded throughout 2004 and 2005, prior to the release of the Hall of Fame.
