The Universal Clan Laws:

Rule 1

Under no circumstances must any member of the Wilderness Guardians PK a player within the Wilderness who's intentions are not focused on fighting another player. The exceptions to this rule are bounty hunting and PKing beggars and scammers. This applies both on official clan events, and outside them. If a screenshot or another form of adequate evidence is provided, which will be validated at the discretion of the council, you will be expelled from the clan. You may appeal for a return after one month and you must have the recommendation of a current clan member saying that you no longer PK non-skulled players in the wilderness.

Rule 2

You must not beg for items at any times. We are the elite, and begging is below us. People work hard for their items, and there is no reason you should be able to get anything without working for it yourself. If you are hacked you must not ask for compensation. With PIN numbers especially, being a hacking victim is your own fault. However if you have truly been financially disabled, you may ask the clan for assistance, though it is ultimately up to the council. Of course, the cases of begging vary greatly in magnitude, so the council shall decide the appropriate action to a violation of this rule.

Rule 3

You must obey the orders of those in the council. Please feel free to present your argument to us and we shall endeavor to listen to it. However there are times where we disagree to your thoughts, and you are obliged to trust our choice, knowing that every action we take is for the good of our clan. This rule is particularly significant during conflict between several members of the clan. The consequence will vary, and the council holds the right to enforce any punishment they see fit.

Rule 4

There are to be no circumstances of scamming among members of this clan. If you scam anything whatsoever, consider yourself out of this clan. This discounts minuscule portions. If you are kicked out of WG under condemnation of scamming, you will not be eligible to rejoin for at least 1 month and the recommendation of a current clan member who deems to you have no longer scammed.

Rule 5

You have every right to voice your opinions in the clan site. The manner in which you do it will not include swearing, racism, sexism, or any form of discrimination. It will not insult any individual/s nor will it include irrelevant content, advertising or adult material. All mods hold the right to delete any post they find fits into this category and issue warnings accordingly. If the breach is serious, it may lead to a temporary suspension of your account from the forums.

Rule 6

You will not hack into any Runescape related sites or Runescape accounts. This is strictly prohibited, and is one of our most strictly kept policies. If a screenshot of the hacker's IP matches your own on our forums, you will be banned and you are ineligible for an appeal to return.

Rule 7

While on Runescape, you will follow its rules. Detailed Below are the Jagex Rules.
#1. You must not use any language which may be considered by others to be offensive, racist or obscene.
We generally have no issues with people who use slightly profane language on Runescape. However, if one member takes offense to another member's language, and the other member does not stop after being asked to, they will be reported. On clan events, in which you are representing WG, you will be reported for flaming other clans, as WG does become offended by this as it harms our reputation. However, no punishments save reporting will be handed out for this rule.

#2. You must not scam or deceive other players.
In the case of this rule, not only could you be reported, but the clan will also take the matter into its own hands, be that scamming between two clan members, or one clan member scamming someone outside the clan. If a screenshot is provided, we deal with the case according to rule 4.

#3. Asking/trying to persuade another player to give you their password for any reason is against the rules and will not be tolerated.
If proof is provided, we shall pursue the issue under rule 6. You shall also be reported to Jagex.

#4. You must not use or attempt to use any cheats or errors which you find in our software.
If you exploit a bug, Jagex will be notified, as it is outside our scope of discipline. We will support whatever Jagex decides. Obviously you will not be banned for walking in a region of black, so the extent to which we notify Jagex will vary. We will do nothing to affect your position in the clan.

#5. You should not attempt to impersonate Jagex staff in any way, for any reason.
Again, if you attempt to impersonate Jagex staff, we will notify them, and the outcome is in their hands. We will do nothing to affect your position in the clan.

#6. Each account should only be used by ONE person. Account sharing is NOT allowed.
The clan shall notify Jagex of the occurrence until they respond. If they dismiss it, so shall we. We will do nothing to affect your position in the clan. If they warn you, we encourage you not to repeat the offence, as you shall be reported again if identified for account sharing.

#7. You must not attempt to use other programs (e.g. bots, macros or auto miners) in conjunction with our games to give yourself an unfair advantage at the game.
You shall be reported to Jagex, and they will decide the outcome of the situation, and the clan will have no more to do with the matter.

#8. You may create more than one Runescape account, but if you do, you may not log in more than one account at any time, and they must not interact with each other in any way.
We shall not endeavor to report anyone for a breach of this. Nor will your status in WG be affected. However, you are asked not to do it, as we respect Jagex's rules, since they are after all, for our own well being.

#9. You must not encourage others to break any of the Runescape rules.
If this rule is broken over Runescape, you shall be reported. If it occurs over the forums, you will be suspended for a period of time which the council shall decide, depending on the rule.

#10. You must not misuse RuneScape Customer Support.
This is generally not an issue the clan needs to deal with. However, you must not ask the clan to send in appeals via customer support. If you do, it will result in a suspension.

#11. You are not allowed to actively advertise in the RuneScape game or RuneScape forums.
We will generally not report you for announcing sites which we know to be safe, as it does no harm to us. However, you are asked not to do this at all, but if you must mention a site, do so privately and not in public. The clan website should also be said privately. If you report a site we deem to be dangerous, you shall be reported. Nothing will happen to your status in the clan.

#12 RuneScape items must only be exchanged for other items/services within the game.
If this occurs and the council is notified, it will be forwarded into Jagex, who will select the appropriate means of action. If this occurs on the clan forums, your account will be temporarily suspended.

#13. For our players' privacy and safety, you must not ask for personal contact details.
This is up to the people involved. The person asked should request that the other person stop asking, however if that person persists, they can send the leadership a complaint and we will speak to the clan member. If they refuse to co-operate, they will be reported if this is over Runescape. If it is on the forums we shall simply suspend them.

#14. You must not misuse our Official RuneScape Forums.
The Jagex forum mods will deal with this personally. However if the forums are being abused to detriment the reputation of WG, even unintentionally, you will be interrogated, and if you continue to do so, you will be removed from the clan and will not be eligible to re-apply for 1 month. You will also need a statement from a clan member who often visits the Jagex forums as well.

Rule 8

There is to be no spamming on the forums. This wastes members' time by having to sieve through all the unnecessary posts. Also, there is to be no flaming, on either public or private forums. If this occurs on the private WG forums, warnings and suspensions shall be issued alongside the deletion of your post. If this occurs on a public forum we will urge you to edit out the flaming in our name (we'll leave spam to the forum mods), as it gives the clan a bad reputation. We will not pursue personal flaming, but only flaming on behalf of WG. If you continue to flame, we'll request that a forum mod take action, and if it still continues, you will be removed from the clan.

Rule 9

Only the council of WG, inclusive of the relations officer, can declare a war on another clan, or accept it. If you declare or accept war on the clan's behalf, you will find that you have no clan to war with. The clan leaders will also withdraw the war contract.

Rule 10

If you leave the clan, you have 3 days to reconsider. In this time you may still brose the forums unless you are spamming or flaming. If you decide to withdraw your resignation within 3 days, you retain your rank and post count. If you do not, your status is set to banned, and your post count is reset. If you wish to rejoin after this, you start at new member rank.

*** The council reserves the right to modify these rules at any time as they see fit.

The Fixed Raid Rules:

The following five rules cannot be modified by raid leaders.

Rule 1

All of the above rules apply for raids and other clan events. Consequences for breaches apply as stated in the above rules.

Rule 2

Follow ALL of the raid leader's decisions and do not dispute them until afterward. Unless the leader orders a breach of one of these five rules, you must obey all the orders. Again, I say, you can only complain after the raid is over, in order to maintain control during the raid. The leader can order whatever he wants as long as it does not breach the five fixed rules. By following that leader, you agree to submitting yourself to his command. If you do not wish to follow that leader, request a different one prior to the raid, or at least notify the leader of a request you are worried they might not follow through with. Complaints about raid leadership must be done afterward, PRIVATELY to leaders. The clan leaders will re-assess the person's raid leadership. Most raid leaders tend to follow the standard raid rules, which are stated below these five fixed rules.

Rule 3

You hold the right to leave the raid at any time you wish. The leader of the raid cannot force you to remain. If you are unsatisfied with the leadership, feel free to leave.

Rule 4

If you are attending another clan's event, you must follow their rules unless they violate WG's rules.

Rule 5

You must not kill a WG member on any raid, unless that member requests it. Council members on raids may expel a member during the raid, in which case you may kill him, but apart from the council, no person can expel a clan member. This occurrence of expulsion is extremely rare.

The Standard Raid Rules:

The following six rules can be modified by raid leaders.

Rule 1

Friends who wish to attend the raid must be approved by the raid leader. Generally, your friend must make the clan requirements, and must wear the clan cape and must agree to the rules of the raid. No friends are to join late.

Rule 2

There is to be no running outside the group unless leaving. Even when not fighting, scouting ahead without permission is unacceptable, so too is spreading out without the leader's request.

Rule 3

Wear the clan cape. If you do not wear the clan cape you may not go with the clan until you have it. You may return as soon as you have it.

Rule 4

Code of dress and items: All mages in f2p must take bind runes on the raid. You may not mage without bearing and using bind runes. Lobsters are the minimum food for f2p raids. There is to be nothing below rune worn for warriors. If you cannot afford to lose your rune or do not have any, regardless of hacking or scamming etc, you may not attend the raid.

Rule 5

Do not bring teleport runes to the raids. Do not run away from clans you face. Do not log when facing an enemy clan.

Rule 6

Luring is acceptable. Many think that this is cheap and low. To those people I have only this to say. We have abided my every other code of honour, by not running, or teleporting, or PJing, or logging. We will not surrender our given right to lure. It is an essential act in antiPKing. It gives us the ability to prevent PKers from dominating single combat wilderness. Anyone who is aggressive enough to follow a single person into multi combat is a target of our clan. As antiPKers we need luring to help save the innocent. Face the fact that it is a wilderness tactic, and that there is nothing wrong with it when used for antiPKing purposes. Call it dishonorable. Our definition of honour was different from the start when we stated we PK only those who are strong enough to PK. Now we say that luring is acceptable. Do not dislike us for having a different understanding of honour. We draw our honour from killing those who dominate single combat, giving the non-PKers an actual chance.
