The BlacKnights (BK) was a RuneScape clan founded in January 2001, and in 2012 were considered the second oldest surviving clan in RuneScape (behind The Sabres).[1] Given the similarity between BK and WG in terms of the two clans' ages, sizes, and values (Honour in particular), an alliance was formed by Vio and Rosstitution in January 2012.[2] BK joined The Sabres and DG on WG's allied raids, and the two clans fought several battles together under the moniker "BlackGuardians".[3] Though the legitimacy of the alliance was questioned on occasion with some members leaving WG to join BK[4], it was overall considered to be positive and beneficial. In November 2012 BK converted from a clan to a team when it began to struggle with membership and activity as a result of the then-upcoming Evolution of Combat.[5] While the alliance between BK and WG was never officially ended, BK slowly faded into inactivity over the next few months and allied events ceased.
