The Crusade

The Crusade (TC) was a RuneScape 2 clan founded by Cocobug in May of 2006, as an exodus of The Synergy. The clan lasted approximately 2 years and 8 months, and closed on 12 January 2009.[citation needed]
In May of 2006, Cocobug along with 20-25 other Syn members left the clan, feeling that the leadership was ineffective and straying from Syn's original ideals. Cocobug founded TC, and around 7-10 other ex-Syn members joined.[1]
Relations from TC towards Syn were initially hostile. WG is believed to have supported TC from the start - ending their historically-successful alliance with Syn and forming one with TC around July of 2006.[2] TC also formed alliances with The Sabres and Sleeping Dragons (the latter an earlier exodus of Syn)[3]. Both clans chose to support TC, and ended their own previous alliances with Syn in December of 2006.[4]
