3v0luti0n_X (3v0, also sometimes spelled "3v0lution_X") was a clan founded in 2005, and is notable for being one of the top clans in 2007, as well as the clan of Durial321, the player responsible for the Falador Massacre on 6 June 2006. An alliance between 3v0 and WG was formed in August 2007, and lasted until 3v0's split with Zero Tolerance in early 2009.

History
3v0 was founded on 29 March 2005[1] as a US Central-based F2P and P2P clan. Slinger X, Sharpiesmurf, and Miss Diggler were the original leaders, with Torreoria and Prospa joining the leadership team in 2007.[2] 3v0 focused primarily on P2P multi, though they also participated in F2P, catered for players in other timezones around the world, and hosted a range of skilling and fun events as well as PvP. A notable member of 3v0 was Durial321, the player responsible for the Falador Massacre in 2006 - albeit on a new account (Azn Boi 763) after Durial321 was permanently banned. The popularity of the Falador Massacre resulted in a flood of applications to 3v0 around the time of the event.[3]
3v0 saw most of their major success in 2007, being considered to have "come out of nowhere" as one of the top P2P clans with over 100 members. They would fight and defeat numerous other top clans including Damage Incorporated and Reign of Terror during the summer of 2007. 3v0 also had alliances with Golden Elites and Elite Order, and their joint trips with GE under the moniker "G3" resulted in several large-scale fights with clans including WG[4] and RoT.[5] The likes of 3v0, WG, GE and DI were RoT's main competition in P2P from summer to the end of 2007, though RoT's NH tactics would see them ultimately secure the #1 spot.[6]
3v0 also developed a rivalry in 2007 with another top clan, The Stricken Cards[7], and on 6 December 2007 3v0 and TSC fought a 4 hour and 30 minute P2P run-in, which TSC claimed to have been the longest P2P fight in RuneScape history at the time. 3v0 outpulled with around 76 members to TSC's 71, though TSC ultimately proved victorious.[8] 3v0 would also defeat WG multiple times in P2P prior to their alliance.[9]
Alliance

An alliance between 3v0 and WG was formed in August 2007. This started with a joint PK trip, in which WG and 3v0 would fight RoT and TSC, though the battles were considered unclean due to 1-iteming and WG and 3v0 ultimately left the Wilderness.[10]
The relationship was considerably successful through to the end of 2007, and several videos exist of joint PK trips and wars between the two clans. 3v0 was considered by some members to be significantly stronger than WG - being able to allegedly pull 4 times the amount of WG members to an allied event.[11] Aside from PvP, 3v0 also competed against WG in the 2007 Skill Olympics, and invited WG to their 3-year anniversary celebrations in March of 2008.[12]
3v0's success began to dimish noticeably in early 2008. This started with leadership issues resulting in Durial321 and several high-ranking members leaving, along with a large portion of their member base. 3v0's memberlist had dropped to 41 by 23 February 2008.[13] By May of 2008 they had recovered somewhat - having around 70 members with a combat level average of 120 - though no allied events had taken place for a while, despite WG's offers.[14] However as 2008 progressed, the alliance's activity improved with several joint events. These included some friendly Clan Wars wars and run-ins between 3v0 and WG, in which it was made clear that 3v0's PvP skill remained significant, despite their losses in numbers.[15] The last known allied event was a P2P clan wars run-in on or around 4 October 2008, which WG won.[16]
Exodus
In January 2009, 3v0 encountered internal issues which were described as a "civil war", the result of which was the formation of the exodus Zero Tolerance, led by former 3v0 leader Torreoria - though 3v0 continued to exist under Miss Diggler's leadership.[17] By March of 2009, the alliance with WG had been inactive for around 5 months and its status was called into question by WG members.[18] It is unclear when the alliance with 3v0 formally ended - however, His Lordship had been informed of the split with ZT as it occurred, and had shown support to Torreoria. As a result, the ZT warlord offered WG an alliance on 30 April 2009, which WG accepted on 22 May 2009.[19]
There are few surviving records of 3v0 after the exodus. Some efforts were made to revive the clan throughout 2009[20], which included a merge with another clan known only as "IL" in June.[21] These attempts were all considerably unsuccessful though, and 3v0 is believed to have fallen into complete inactivity in 2009 - no records of an official closing topic have been found.
