2006 was the third complete year of the Wilderness Guardians in RuneScape 2.
Summary
2006 was the most successful year in RuneScape 2 for WG in terms of their overall PvP strength. A war with the Black Dragons put WG in the top 5 of P2P clans by January, and PK trips led by Kenshln (known as "KF Raids") were largely successful. His Lordship also created an impressive Flash Website which gained widespread fame as one of the best RuneScape clan websites in existence. Despite continued success and more large-scale wars such as X vs DS, His Lordship eventually chose to step down from leadership of WG midway through the year. The replacement leaders continued to push WG into competing with the likes of Reign of Terror as a top P2P clan ("powerhouse"). However, this resulted in a power struggle which cause His Lordship to return and temporarily close the clan for a few hours on 1 December. Over 100 members would leave within the follwing days, ending WG's era as a top clan.

- February 19 - WG defeated The Infamous in a PKRI - an RSC topic was posted by Kenshln, but no archive of it exists.[1]
July
- July 20 - WG, Rune Raiders, and some Chivalry Legions members defeated Collision and Awaken in two separate PKRIs - an RSC topic was posted by Kenshln but no archive of it exists.[2]
