2005 was the second complete year of the Wilderness Guardians, and the first complete year of RuneScape 2.

Summary

WG hosted more wars and started to build their reputation as a warring clan within the RuneScape clan world throughout 2005. The year began rough with a second exodus known as The Revolution, causing WG to lose around 80 members in January - thought TR closed shortly after and many returned. WG raised their requirements to 80+ combat and a council was elected. In mid-2005 the clan had two major wars: WG vs The Unbreakables and WG vs Dead on Arrival - the latter being the first RuneScape war to make use of Ancient Magicks. His Lordship also made the infamous TeamSpeak Rant around this time as a result of a backstabbing incident - though both the video of the DoA war and the TeamSpeak Rant served as a boost for WG's popularity and reputation. As a result of their progress, they opened a junior clan: the Descendant Guardians.
