2005 was the second full year of the Wilderness Guardians, and the first full year of the RuneScape 2 era.
Events
January
- January 2 - The Honoured Member and Trusted Member ranks are introduced[1].
- January 3 - His Lordship resumes leadership of WG along with Myst01[2], and WG allies with Legends Legion[3].
- January 7 - The 2004 Anniversary ends.
- January 9 - The Rune Outlaws fail to show up for war, and WG claims a win by default[4].
- January 10 - Concerns are made about WG members leaving to join The Revolution, and talks with Noricle are planned[5].
- January 11 - A number of changes are made, including: democratic voting for new orders, members of TR being allowed to return to WG, moving away from world 20, and members being allowed to apply for promotions[6].
- January 12 - The Requirements are raised to 80+ Combat, and WG and TR agree to distance themselves[7].
- January 16 - WG and LL are victorious in a large-scale war against Rivendell[8].
- January 20 - The clan's P2P Home world of 27 is decided[9], and a second clan census is held[10].
- January 22 - A fun war with The Unbreakables is organised[11].
- January 28 - New PK trip rules are put into place.
- January 29 - The fun war with The Unbreakables takes place - TU is cleared, but a draw is agreed due to WG members in improper gear[12].
- January 30 - Write2brandy is reported to be alive.
February
- February 5 - Flame Reece is the Member of the Month[13].
- February 11 - His Lordship compiles one of the first recorded histories of WG[14].
- February 19 - The second clan census results were published[15].
- February 22 - WG adopts the Team-17 Cape for P2P PK trips[16].
- February 28 - The first Council is chosen, comprising of His Lordship, Palidore, Wildflame110, Oaktownrules, and Anincent - all of which took the "Secondary Leader" position[17].
March
- March 5 - The newly-formed Council puts together their first Council Report[18].
- March 6 - The Emeritus rank is introduced.
April
- April 23 - WG fights the Rune Outlaws a third time, and the war is crashed by Afroclan and Demonic Legends.
